It cuts across all policy areas and must be firmly embedded in municipal agendas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PeerConnect Resilience fosters dialogue between European and German municipalities, enabling them to share insights from past crises and co-develop strategies to enhance local resilience. The project centers on the exchange of best practices regarding challenges such as energy crises, structural change, and extreme weather events.\n\nSimultaneously, the project highlights that building resilience has become a vital strategic priority for municipalities in an era of shifting geopolitical landscapes and increasing climate volatility. It is a cross-cutting issue that belongs on every local policy agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By fostering cross-border exchange\u2014focusing on agility, decentralization, and streamlining bureaucratic processes during crises\u2014the project helps municipalities gain a critical edge: prioritizing pragmatism over perfectionism. This process of \"leapfrogging\" demonstrates that resilience is fundamentally a matter of speed in execution.
